"law Of Attraction" How It Can Work For You

I imagine most everyone has now heard the term "Law of Attraction" due to Oprah Winfrey featuring this topic on her television show, once the book "The Secret" was published. Some folks may think this is something new and probably a little skeptical about it all. Others may have fear of it, while many practice this new-age concept of those three little words. And oh, how powerful it really is.
Let's determine first if you are negative or positive in your thinking process. It is difficult to be positive all the time. Situations come about that make you feel depressed or angry. Do you overcome the situation and rise above it, or do you linger with thought's of negativity? Are you the type of person that can just brush it off easily? Think back on today's events in your life and recall what kind of statements you have made to others or your own private thoughts. Write them down in a journal. Read them over to yourself. Were your statements and thoughts positive or negative? Do you have an open mind or a closed one? Your answers to these questions are important if you wish to use the "Law of Attraction" for whatever you desire.

Positive thinking is extremely important and necessary when focusing on your desires. If you think negative about something or have fear of something, you actually bring that to you and have to face it and conquer it. On the other hand, if you think positive thoughts, you bring that to you as well. Which would you rather have knocking at your door?


I'm going to tell you the techniques I use for the "Law of Attraction". The main technique I use is called Guided Imagery. Guided Imagery is actually creating in your mind something you want or need. You think it, you vision it in your mind and you see it. You do this through a form of meditation. Meditation is a form of relaxation.

Here is one example of an exercise you can use. Place yourself is a quiet area with no noise or disturbances. Your bedroom is probably the best place. Close your eyes and try to clear your thoughts of the day. Vision in your mind something you want or need. For an example, Let's say you would like to have a new car. In your mind picture the car. Add the color to it. Picture yourself holding the key's to the car. Picture yourself getting into the car. Smell the odor of a new automobile. Feel your excitement of owning your dream car. Watch yourself driving the car. Hear yourself telling your friend's about your new car. See your car in your driveway or garage, and on and on. You should repeat this exercise twice a day at first. During this type of exercise, do not allow any negative thoughts come into your mind. This is very important. If you allow negative thoughts in, you will have actually knocked out this exercise and invited negativity instead.

During this type of exercise, you have to believe this will work. If you don't believe it will work, then it won't. It's just that simple. You can use the guidelines of this techinque for anything you desire or need. Just change the commercial in your mind, so to speak. You can use this technique for material wants and needs, improving a relationship, a new job or career, pretty much anything.

Another useful tool is using Affirmations. Affirmations are words you speak to declare or assert in a positive manner. If you can't think of any you can search online or pick up a book at your local bookstore to assist you. I practice this on a daily basis. Remember that what you send out to the Universe in the shape of words or thoughts will come back to you, so keep it positive.
