They think, "Hey, I'm burning 3000 calories a day, so if I only eat 1000 calories per day I'll lose weight really fast." After all, it seems logical right? The only problem is that our bodies don't react that way. If you restrict your calorie intake too much, you'll be telling your body that you're starving to death so it will hold on to every last bit of fat on your body.

To lose weight in a healthy way, start small by eating just a few less calories than you did before. Or you can eat the same amount and exercise a little more. When deciding what foods you're going to eat, opt for something natural that came from the ground rather than a boxed food that came from the store.

Eating the right foods is as important as eating the right amount. If you can get your diet under control and make small changes in what & how much you're eating, losing weight will come easily. Plus you'll stay healthy and full of energy.
