10 Article Marketing Tips That Will Transform Your Traffic
NB: As I can't put any links in the body of this article, I have included a link to a resources page at the end here, which lists the tools I use for article submission. These are CRUCIAL to your success with article marketing. Top 10 Tips for Effective Article Marketing #1 - Decide on your target keyword for your article. You could write an amazing article on "How to Build a Flying Robot Out of Paper Cups" but if no one is searching for it - NOBODY WILL FIND IT! Choose a long tail keyword like "Social Media Network Marketing" instead of just "Network Marketing". Use Google keyword tool to find a keyword with at least a few hundred searches a month, but with not too much competition. The keyword will be in the title of your blog post, your articles and ANY link going back to your original post. #2 - Aim to solve aproblem for your readers. If you write about your company, no body will care, but if you HELP people with their problems they will see you as an expert and click through to your blog to find out what else you can do for them. #3 - You can add two links to the end of your article. Make sure that you link back to your attraction marketing system (you can get free training on this on my blog) and to your original blog post. be sure to make the text in your links the keyword that you are targeting. For instance: . #4 - Deep links. Do not just link back to your main blog, link back to the original post on your chosen subject. Make sure that your blogs permalinks (Settings>Permalinks) use the title of the post as it's permanent link. This way all your articles point back to a different part of your blog, showing google that you have a wide range of topics covered in your blog. #5 - Stick to what you decided to write about, answer the question, solve the problem. Don't go off track and try to sell them something. This is not the place, and you'll just annoy your readers. #6 - Consistency is key. don't expect that by doing something once you will suddenly get results. You need to do this for AT LEAST 6 weeks, every day. But if you DO this, you will create unbelievable results. It would take you a week to do this manually, which is why I use an aweome tool you can find on my blog, under "Rachael Recommends". #8 - Use the software I talked about above to #9 - Let other bloggers use your content. Some bloggers choose to publish other authors content on their website. By submitting your articles to be used on these sites you will get a steady trickle of articles going out every day, keeping you ranking high in google over time.
