10 Tips For A Romantic Dinner For Two

It doesn't have to be a special occasion to have a romantic dinner with your loved one. Even if neither of you is a good cook, you can still have that fancy restaurant feel in your own home-without the bill.

Here are 10 tips on enjoying a romantic dinner at home.

1. Make sure the two of you will be alone with no distractions.

2. Plan your dinner on a night when you know you can be free with absolutely no commitments.

3. Consider making the dinner a surprise. Light candles in your homes entrance to set the mood of the surprise right when they walk in.

4. Set the table with a tablecloth, napkins, fancy dishes, candles, and flowers. To add even more oomph-sprinkle the table with rose petals or confetti.

5. Decide your menu. Make sure it's something you can cook. Romantic dinners aren't the best time to try totally new things.

6. You don't necessarily have to cook yourself. Order some food from a restaurant-just make sure you've transferred it to proper dishes.

7. Opt to play some soft, romantic music in the background. Chose the music ahead of time and have it ready.

8. Dim the lights in your dinning room. If you don't have a dimmer, the effect can be achieved by using candles or white Christmas lights.

9. Keep all TVs, computers, cell phones, and other distractions turned off.

10. Let loose and enjoy yourselves!
