10 Ways Of Getting The Most Out Of Private Label Rights
1. Create Hard Copies You can quite simply take the content and turn it into a physical manual. This has a higher value of course so you can charge more, it also appeals to people who do not want to read an ebook and allows people to access your material whilst not at their computer. It also has the added bonus of having a lower refund rate. You can package several books together and create a CD, this could even go with the manual. 2. Audio Versions By simply changing it to an audio you have a unique and appealing product. There is a higher perceived value so more money and it means the product can be consumed by those who can't or don't wish to read. So blind and partially sighted people are catered for along with anyone who may be driving or anyway getting on with their day and not just sat reading. Some people just may prefer it. A good idea would be to sell both the book and the audio as most competitors may just be selling the book. 3. Huge Home Study Course You could create a huge home study course. This sort of thing can go for up to $1000 depending on the subject and the content. You may have several books in the same niche so you could have a module on each, have manuals printed out with action plans, audio cd's and dvd's. A bumper course done correctly would blow your competition out the water and earn you some huge amounts of cash. 4. Content For Membership Sites By creating a membership site you will have a recurring monthly commission as each subscriber pays each month for as long as they are a member. This is great as it's a regular guaranteed income and you do most of the work once and then maintain the site and improve as you go. The content from your private label books could be added here. Perhaps you have a selection of books which could provide a huge and popular membership site that sets you apart from everyone else. 5. Articles Simply chop down the book into relevant articles. These can then be added to your site or blog if you have one or submitted to article directories which will have a link at the bottom to whatever you're promoting, whether it be your site or an affiliate program. You can also give them to ezine owners who can send them out to their list in exchange for them promoting your site or adding your affiliate link to what you're promoting. 6. Video Going a stage further than audio, creating a video product would really make you stand out. People love to watch video and you can charge a lot more too. It could simply be a case of making a PowerPoint presentation of the book, recording it with screen capture software like Camtasia and reading the book over it. You could provide some sort of analysis as well as just literally reading the words or otherwise provide explanations of the content. 7. Ezine You can use the PLR as content for your ezine if you have one. If you don't then it would be a good idea to start one at some point to keep in contact with your subscribers. This takes away some of the hassle of providing quality content as it's already there, maybe just a little editing required. 8. Boost Value To Existing Offers You can of course just use the PLR to add value to your existing products. Maybe use as a bonus or as a free gift to your loyal subscribers. 9. Free Viral Book, Build Your List Talking of free gift you can use the PLR book or variation of it to give away in exchange for people's email address and build your list. By creating a viral ebook it can spread like wildfire across the internet, increasing exposure and your list making you well known as well as building your business. 10. Sell Resale Rights You can even sell them on again with resell rights. You can set the rules as what you will allow them to be used for. So perhaps alter your PLR in some way to jazz up the product and sell on the resell rights. You can essentially flip this round in a matter of days and continue to do so. You could even make this the basis of your business. As you can see the possibilities are endless. No reason why you can't have your own unique, hot selling product in a matter of days and profiting from it for years. Of course, as it's private label you can just leave the product as is and sell it making no alterations, so no work required, but for best effect and to stand out just adding a twist of some sort will make all the difference.
