10 Ways To Display Home Decor Candleholders

Men and women, we both love seeing candles in our homes. We love the mood they create, the pleasant scent they give off and they dress up a room making it feel more homey. Now we're all accustomed to seeing them displayed on a table or shelf, but here are some other ideas on ways to display candles. Use your imagination and try to personalize or customize boring plain candles. Here are some ideas to get you started.

1. Line your staircase with candles.
2. Place a mirror under the candle or leaning on the wall behind the candle.
3. Place the candle in a clear bowl with coffee beans.
4. Have different sized and colored candles placed side by side for an interesting candle collection display
5. Place candles in a fireplace opening instead of a gas insert.
6. Wrap a candle with twigs from the garden for a rustic look
7. Line a window with a row of candles for a beautiful look from the street.
8. Place candles in unusual containers, like old vintage glass ware or wine glasses.
9. Place candles circling a tree base. These will look wonderful at night all lit up.
10. Use your imagination and display candles in your own unique way.

Now don't forget basic candle safety although. Never leave candles unattended and always use a candleholder or fireproof base. Trim the candle wick to about 5 mm and only use candleholders that are sturdy and won't easily tip over. Keep candles away from items that will catch fire, especially curtains or books. Remember to keep candles where pets and children can't reach them and lastly avoid candles with lead wicks.
