10 Ways To Make Flying Easier

If you're always packing at the last minute, can never find your passport, or leave something vital at home, then you'll want a way to make sure that you remember everything that needs doing before you go away. Here are 10 ways to make flying easier.

1. Keep a list, and pack well in advance, so you've got everything. Frequent flyer keep a bag packed

2. You'll want to make sure that you've got in date passports and [printed your tickets out. Remember that you might also need a visa and other paperwork, and you'll definitely want currency.

3. It's a good idea to inform people that you're going away. You might need to stop your papers or milk from being delivered, and you'll also want someone to move your post. You might also need to arrange kennels or a cattery, or have somebody look after your pets whilst you're away.

4. Make sure that you've got your electrical gadgets and chargers sorted out. You want to get on the plane only to discover that the battery on your child's game console has run out, or that you've got no way of charging your camera.

5. Remember to take something for the children. It might be a colouring book, a magazine, or a new game for them to play. If you think you might be bored during the flight, you don't want them to be bored too.

6. By booking your car park space before you fly you won't need to worry about finding somewhere to park when you get to the airport. You'll also find that you'll save time and money too.

7. If you want to explore the region, and make the most of your time there, why not arrange a hire car before you go? You'll be able to get the sort of vehicle you want, and know that you can pick it up at the airport.

8. Depending on where you live, and where you're travelling to, you might want to book an airport hotel for the night before or after your flight. This will leave you more relaxed and ready for your flight, or journey home.

9. On the day you fly, you'll need to make sure that you leave in plenty of time so that you don't need to rush to get to the airport. Remember that journey times can be a lot longer if there are roadworks, or you're travelling at peak times. Also, you'll be much calmer if you don't have to worry about missing your flight.

10. It's a good idea to book everything well in advance. You can book your flights, accommodation, airport car parking and hote, as well as currency weeks before you go. It'll give you something to look forward to and plenty of time to pack and get everything ready.
