10 Ways To Live A Healthier Life (part 1)

Step one in living a healthier life is to add exercise to your daily life.

There are many different types of exercise you can do, all of which are beneficial in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Basically, exercise is simply the movement of certain muscle groups. Pretty much any sort of activity can be considered exercise. Anything you do requires energy from your body. That energy used is exercise.

The more exercise your muscles get, the stronger they get. The stronger your muscles get, the more your energy increases, you burn more fat without more work, and you even reduce your risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes.

Most Americans tend to get very little exercise, which is a large reason why there are a lot of health problems in America and recently in other parts of the world as well.

In order to avoid the health risks many Americans encounter, you need to get & stay thin, and get more exercise daily.

Exercise not only builds up your muscles, but it also burns calories while you're exercising. If you burn more calories than you consume in a day, then you will burn off the fat your body has previously stored, likely from poor lifestyle choices & bad habits or just lack of proper knowledge.

When you add more exercise in your life, make sure you consume enough calories to sustain your body.

Often people eat too little when trying to lose weight and get in shape, they don't eat nearly enough, and it puts their body into "starvation" mode, causing it to store all of the food consumed as fat because it is worried about not getting enough food.

So make sure you are eating enough to keep your body functioning properly, but keep the food good quality and don't eat too much.

There are plenty of different types of exercise that you can add into your daily life, and many of them don't require hardly any extra effort.

You can take up running, biking, aerobics, yoga & even walking. People will argue over what type of exercise is best, but the truth is different exercise is better for different people.

I know some people who can't run because it causes them joint pain, so they bike. Some people have asthma, so walking is a better choice.

The best thing for you to do is a combination of exercises. For instance, you could even just park your car at the far end of the parking lot to go an extra distance.

You could run up and down stairs instead of walking. You could play with your kids if you have them (which is good for you and your kids in a number of ways), you could run, walk or bike on small errands instead of driving.

You could take up a sport, go hiking or mountain climbing or any number of things.

The key is to get out and do something. Incorporate exercise into your daily routines. See how you can get more active. Most importantly, find something you enjoy doing because that way you are far more likely to stick with it.
