As you know muscle mass helps with your body’s metabolism. So I chose to go the other way around. And that is… Sprinting is the answer to your typical cardio and fat loss.. I also have a confession to make, I don’t like jogging or running at all. But when it comes to sprinting, I love it. You'll not only work your cardiovascular system but also boost our metabolism and heart rate. Now you are going to do 10 laps 3-4 days per week. You are not running laps. Instead 10 X 100 m sprints. You can increase the distance by 200 or 400 m, but not more than that. Sprinting is not easy and not for weak hearted people.. Trust me, it takes guts to run 10 sprints of 100 m. My Recommendation is 3-4 days, not more than that. If you are wondering why I am not suggesting to go over 400 m sprints, then the answer is simple. When you are doing any kind of running, you are involving both anaerobic and aerobic components.What I want is to involve more of anaerobic/high intensity components into your routine. As you work over 400m, your body starts including more of aerobic systems of your body. This will ensure, you are shedding pounds even as you rest, as anaerobic components does not cut your muscle like aerobic one does. The results are ever bit worth.
