10 Plus Ways To Create A Powerful Financial Future

1.) Identify the reason. Why do you want to build wealth or be financially secure? It must be a compelling reason; even much so that it forces you to take action when your energy fades. Is it because you want to get out of debt, provide for your family, buy nice toys, or are you tired of struggling? Whatever the reason is, it must bring forth a kind of conviction that energizes you when otherwise you might give up.

2.) Choose to be wealthy. Invest in educating yourself. Search for opportunities to invest; maybe create the opportunities yourself. It is absolutely imperative that you monitor your behavior and observe your behavior towards money. If you find that your behavior is detrimental to your financial health then you must put yourself in check. Stop doing the little things that take money out of your pocket. (eg…library fines, parking tickets, eating out etc.)

3.) Mind your friends. Carefully choose who you want in your social circle because there is power in associations. We tend to take on certain characteristics of those who we spend time with. Consciously learn from everyone whom you associate with.

4.) Move through your progressions. Master a formula, and then learn a new one. Develop a recipe or blue print for wealth building and follow it. The secret is in your ability to follow directions. Make a conscious effort to apply the formula.

5.) Pay yourself first. This takes discipline because other commitments will be pressing for their portion, yet take your 10 to 15 percent out first.

6.) Pay your advisors well. These are the people who you will entrust with your financial future. If you treat them with proper respect; subsequently they will take care of you.

7.) Give and take. After your investments begin to yield dividends, consider taking out the initial money and search for other investments. Only play with the money you can afford to lose.

8.) Let your assets buy your luxuries.

9.) Find mentors. This is not very difficult to do. Find someone who is doing what you want to do. Go online and research them, read their biographies, learn how they lead, invest, and analyze trends. (Peter Lynch, Donald Trump, Rockefeller)

10.) Teach and you will receive. Give yourself out of poverty. In your time of need give away that which you are in need of, and you will receive it back in buckets. Teach that which you are learning. This tends to reinforce the concepts; therefore the concepts will firmly take root.

11.) Hidden Bonus. Give and it shall be given back to you. Tithing and charity contributions are ideal. You can write these off on your taxes and not lose anything. Thus, you increase your self-worth. You’re are giving back and building your community. Additionally, you will have earned the title philanthropist.
