10 Steps To Create Your First Mind Map

I have recommended mind mapping as a terrific learning instrument that can assist you recollect things in my Physics Tuition Blog.

Well here are 10 simple steps to creating your mind maps.

1.Beging with a blank sheet of paper. It may be any measurements. A blank one not the one with lines to restrict how your mind map grows.

2.Begin with the Central topic at the heart of the paper. E.g Kinematics. Use images to enhance the idea.

3.Branch out the main ideas from the Central topic. E.g Dist/ Disp, Speed/velocity, Acceleration. Use thick branches for the principle ideas. Subsequently, use thinner branches for sub ideas.

4. Use distinctive colours for different branches. This will help it become easier to link and connect ideas.

5. Keep one word per branch and keep the word on top of the branch. Keeping it to one word allow generation of additions ideas.

6.Put images whenever you can instead of words. You already know a pictures speaks a thousand words and you also can remember pictures better than phrases.

7.Insert arrows or connectors in between branches and ideas showing the linkages between related concepts.

8.Use capital letters and let his creativity flow with your mind map to enable you retain it significantly better and easier.

9.You shouldn't be too bother by repeated ideas or points. you'll link them up later.

10. Lastly HAVE FUN DOING IT. if not you won't do it the very next time.
