100% Pure Skin Care Does Not Exist; Take The Holistic Approach
All the same, the reality is that no skin care product is completely natural, no matter what the label or advertisement claims; this is so because, even if the products are derived from plants, they are processed in order to extract the necessary ingredients needed for the production of the products. Hence, it is not possible for any skin care product to be completely natural if what you mean by being natural is that none of the ingredients has been processed. In fact it is the processing of the ingredients that actually makes them more effective and that is exactly why herbal supplements are more effective than the plants they are extracted from; during the process, only the necessary active ingredients are extracted and used for the products. Yes, there is nothing like 100% pure skin care product in the real sense of it; but that does not mean that you should just buy any chemically-saturated product you see on the market. If you want pure skin care products, you need to avoid products that contain parabens; parabens are used by manufactures for economic reasons. They are used as preservatives, but they are also very harmful to your body (skin) and may even cause cancer. You also need to avoid fragrances in skincare products, I know you would love to smell nice but you can achieve that by using perfume or cologne. Fragrances contain harmful chemicals that can irritate your skin. You would do your self a lot of good by limiting the surface area on which these chemicals are applied on your body; remember you apply skin cream all over your body while you dab just a small quantity of perfume on much smaller surface area of your skin I know that you would like to protect your skin from the effects of UV rays from the sun; but be very cautious about creams that contain SPF because they also contain harmful chemicals. Holististic skin care involves using natural products that are processed naturally; it also means using ingredients that have been proven to be effective. Some of these natural ingredients include: Cynergy TK: This is a unique bio-active keratin derived from the wool of New Zealand sheep. It stimulates the production of natural collagen and elastin in the skin. Collagen and elastin maintain the firmness and elasticity of the skin; as we age, our bodies produce less collagen and elastin thereby causing the skin to sag and develop wrinkles. Phytessence Wakame: This is a natural Japanese Kelp which is the secret behind the Japanese women's supple and youthful looking skin. It blocks the activities of the harmful enzyme called hyaluroniadase and thus increases the skin's ability to look youthful. Nano-Lipobelle (CoQ10): This protects the skin from the adverse effects of UV rays from the sun. In other words, it helps you get the benefit of sunlight and still maintains the level of CoQ10 in your skin. Holistic approach to skin care does not end with the skin cream you use; it also includes drinking a lot of purified water, good diet of fruits and green vegetables and sea food (fish). Taking the holistic approach in skin care is as simple as, making sure that you do not fall prey to the marketing gimmicks of manufactures that are only interested in making money off you. There are companies that still believe in producing natural products that are proven and affective. All you need to do is to identify these companies and their products.
