1) Swim with dolphins

Dolphins really are magical creatures and having the chance to swim with them is sure to be a life changing experience.

2) Go walking without a map

The best way to really explore a new area is to not use a map. If you get lost, you are far more likely to learn and remember your surroundings than if you ever had help.

3) Be extra in a film

Being an extra is relatively easy and fun – plus you will earn some money and may even end up seeing yourself in a hit film. If not, you could always try getting an extra part on TV – definitely something to show the kids/grandchildren.

4) Go snorkelling

There’s so much exploring to be done in our vast oceans. Millions of species live under the planet’s blue waters that it’s hard to resist taking a dip to find out more.

5) Turn your mobile off for a week

Really get away from the stresses of everyday life by completely turning off your mobile phone. This may not be advisable if you’re due for an important work meeting though!

6) Get back in touch with a long lost friend

Losing touch with school friends is very easy when you go off to live your life. However there have never been more ways of getting back in touch with someone who was important to you when you were a child.

7) Perform in front of an audience

Whether you’re a budding musician, enjoy dancing or can make people life, getting up on stage to show people your talent is one of the most rewarding things you can do.

8) Spend a day helping a charity

Give something back to a good cause by spending a day helping out a charity. You don’t need to have money to volunteer for a day, either working in a shop or handing out fliers on the street, and the charity will really appreciate it.

9) See the Northern Lights

Many people make the effort to travel to find the Northern Lights, or even take holidays so they can witness one of the most amazing natural phenomena visible to the human eye.

10) Have your portrait painted

Having a portrait painted of you is a great way to see how you are viewed from the perspective of someone else.
