How long does it take for them to complete repairs? Are there any maintenance requests which have been pending for more than one week? 9. Security Are the security personnel present and active? Try walking in off the street and see if you can get upstairs without anyone stopping you. Is there more than one line of defense? What about cameras and key cards? You might want too also try visiting the property at night. Do the guards actually patrol the property or are they off sleeping in a guard booth? 10. Speak to a residence Ask to speak to at least one resident at the apartment complex or start up a conversation with someone while you are visiting. An existent resident will probably give you the best available information regarding the living experience at that property. 11.
