2009 Silver Eagle Ms69 - Is The Ms69 Grade Really Worth The Cost?
To begin with, let us define what the MS-69 grade is. MS69 stands for "Mint State Brilliant Uncirculated." It's one of the grades employed by two of the most widely used independent, 3rd party grading services - the NGC, which stands for Numismatic Guaranty Corporation and PCGS, which stands for Professional Coin Grading Service. If you are really serious about buying a silver eagle with a high grade, it is essential that you stick with these reputable grading services! A coin rated by these services can obtain a score ranging from 1 all the way up to 70. MS70 is the total highest grade that a coin can receive. A coin that's graded MS-70 is totally perfect. There are a few grading services that won't assign a MS70 grade since they declare that a total perfect coin can't exist. The "MS" portion of the grade represents "Mint State." A Mint State coin could be given a grade ranging from MS60 all the way up to MS70. A coin is graded depending on many different aspects. These elements consist of scratches, polishing, nicks, rims, and other imperfections.
