2010 - 5 Diamond Award Restaurants
How the process works: a hotel or restaurant must apply for an evaluation to determine if they meet The Association's basic requirements for hospitality, cleanliness and comfort. If The Association approves the application, one of their 65 professional evaluators will pay a visit to the hotel or restaurant for evaluation. All evaluations are done without notice to ensure the inspector gets the same experience a consumer would. If a hotel or restaurants passes The Association's thorough inspection they become Approved, plus they receive a The Association's rating of One to Five Diamonds, which describes the level of quality and excellence one can expect at that establishment. The Five Diamond Award is the highest rating, given only to the premier properties that provide the ultimate in quality and service.
