2010's Final Hurrah On Brand-new Scents

2010, just like the previous years,is full of new fragrances. With the multitude of fresh scents, it is impossible to recall every single one. PR people can be so utterly good that the fragrance per se becomes secondary and you've seen a lot of these types launched last year.

Let's recap the stunning fragrances of 2010.

Beyonce Heat
In the first few months of 2010, Beyonce's Heat was the talk of the town. It was the pop diva's first fragrance under her name. It was one of the top selling scents last year and indeed, Heat is incredibly hot. According to Beyonce, the essence of a woman's sensuality is captured in this perfume.

La Prairie Life Threads
Life Threads commenced with three fragrances extolling precious metals: Silver, Gold and Platinum.. The threads stand for the ties women weave during the course of their lifetime. Taking off from the success of the first trio, yet another set of fragrances was introduced inspired by rare gemstones: Sapphire, Ruby and Emerald. Life Threads now explore the different facets of love. The exquisite collection of florals features the signature Life Threads falcon where thin metal threads encapsulate the fragrance studded with gemstones. D&G Fragrance Anthology

Beautiful models. Naked. Inspired by the mystical Tarot de Merseilles, D&G offers a delectable line of perfumes featuring top models within the nude. D&G Anthology is composed of 5 perfumes represented by a tarot card. The fragrances might not be , hot but the ad marketing campaign is certainly a feast for the eyes. Fashion photographer Mario Testino did a superb job in creating scintillating shots of models Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Claudia Schiffer, Tyson Ballou, Noah Mills and Fernando Fernandez.

These scents made a media hoopla specifically among perfumistas in 2010. Reminiscing these fantastic scents is just pure olfactory bliss.
