2011 Bathroom Suites Could Be Colourful

The last few years have undoubtedly been tough for many, thanks to the recession, but one writer has recommended introducing some colour in the bathroom and elsewhere in the house as a "tonic for the doom and gloom".

Debbie Travis of the Calgary Herald noted that poppy red, caramel, marigold, bright blue and sulphur green will all be in this year, as will wood veneers as a favourite floor covering, with dark hues proving to be prevalent.

"A theme of back to nature and natural materials places the ethereal beauty of branches and blossoms in patterns," she remarked, which people may wish to bear in mind when contemplating bathroom furniture purchases.
Ms Travis went on to state that it is the small details in a home which are "guaranteed to make you feel that you are in the moment".

Deciding on paint colours when redecorating is undoubtedly one of the bigger decisions to make, as shades can set the mood of a room – and those about to embark on such projects may wish to note a vibrant 2011 has been predicted for bathrooms and beyond.
