2nd Fastest Growing City In The Country Is Mckinney Texas

McKinney, Texas has been named the 2nd fastest growing city in the U.S. for populations over 100,000. Texas Real Estate is hot! McKinney is one of three Texas communities making the top ten lists of fastest growing cities with populations over 100,000. Other Texas cities named in this group are Grand Prairie City (6) and Denton (9). North Las Vegas, Nevada held the number 1 spot.

Proximity to local attractions, schools, transportation, health care are just some of the qualifications to make the top ten. McKinney met them all.

If convenience is your main concern, you have local small public use airports just minutes away. DFW, one of the largest international airports in the world is not far away so you can jet away to almost anywhere for business or pleasure. If driving is more to your liking, you are in close proximity to the shopping convenience of a big city. McKinney is located of US Highway 75 and US highway 380.

Unemployment is low, and jobs are plentiful. Commutes are generally short.

Good local shopping is plentiful with over 100 retail shops in Historic Downtown McKinney.

Many activities exist in McKinney. They have great golf courses, performing arts and concerts, and many other cultural events.
