3 Bombastic Reasons You Need To Start Submitting Articles Right Now!
Free article directories are important to my business success on the internet. I try to put my articles out there in high volumes. You’ve heard the cliché “quality not quantity”. Well, I’ve adapted that saying for my own purposes, “quality AND quantity”. Even in the smallest niche there are so many things you can write about to provide value to the reader it’s astonishing. You can write in one article a month, or one article a week, or one article a day and you’ll notice a major difference in traffic to your site. I try to write 10 quality articles a day. It does take a lot of time and dedication, but I’ve been writing for a long time so it comes easily to me. After a little while, it will come easy to you too.
Enough of the small talk and into why you need to start submitting articles ASAP.
Bombastic Reason #1: Generating Traffic
As you know, article directories can increase traffic to your site. What you may not know is that the traffic they generate is somewhat predictable. I can write and submit an article today and know approximately how many people that will bring to my site every day forward. That is powerful. In this way you can leverage the readership of the article directory to build your own traffic. Imagine if you knew that one article would be bring one person to your site every day (on average). Now imagine you wrote one article every day for a year, that would be 365 articles and 365 people that visit your site, more or less. Now imagine if you wrote 10 articles a day for a year…you get the idea.
Bombastic Reason #2: Search Engine Ranking
If you are working in a small to medium-sized niche you should be able to get your website to the first page of the search engine’s organic search results when article marketing is a significant part of your marketing strategy (just so you know, “organic search results” are the ones that don’t cost you a cent. You won’t have to pay to be on the first page like you would if you used Google Adwords or Yahoo Search Marketing). A pile (maybe 20 or 25) of well-written, good quality articles submitted to various article directories would almost guarantees that your site will be on the first page of search results for your specific key words in a small niche. Of course, you have to know which keywords to write for and that’s probably the biggest trick you have to learn. I won’t get into keyword research in this article, but you will need to learn it and learn it well to be successful.
Bombastic Reason #3: Image is Everything
When people who are interested in your niche see your name and your articles and your website pop up everywhere they being to get the impression that you are an expert in the field. After all, you’re everywhere. The great thing is, you may just be an expert in your niche and if people see you that way all the better. It’s an important step to building a relationship with your prospective customers. Don’t sleep on this one, people will not buy anything from someone they do not trust.

It is best to start with the popular directories such as EzineArtilces dot com, but don’t forget the small guys like ArticleWeaver dot com. Even the big sites started small.
