3 Fundamental Workout Principles That Will Build You Muscle
There are three essential things you must follow to increase your muscle building workout. You can include one of them and it's best to include all of them if possible. Boost your workout to the next level with those:
Lifting Heavy Weights. Muscles grow as it heals from the stress you inflict it during training. Muscle fibers stretch and tears during workout. In rest period your body takes the nutrients from your meals and supplements and applies them in the heal process of your muscle. That way it grows stronger, bigger and ripped.
What Heavy means?
This means that you must be able to perform up to 12 reps max with this weight. Most of the times 10-14 is most effective for muscle growth. This means the 12 reps must be barely pissble. If you can make 3-4 more with this weight, it is not heavy enough. Increase weight.
Your fibers stress as you push through the edge of your limit little by little. That is why it is important to lift heavy weights to build muscle fast.
Compound Exercises. Including multiple joints and muscles (for example the Bench press) and this allows you to lift more heavy weight. From the previous tip this means more heavy weight – more effective muscle building exercise.
The Bench press includes shoulders, arms and chest muscles as also their joints. And for example a single joint exercise is the a triceps set.
Keep in mind not all muscles can be trained with Compound sets, especially the little ones as the focus of the tension tends to slip away from them.
Super Sets. This includes doing several exercises without rest between them. This is not recommended for beginners.
The focus is that you use several similar exercises to drain the max out of your major muscle using the help of different Compound support muscles and joints. Also you are able to perform more work for less time.
Super sets are a whole different level of exercises and workouts and simple article can't follow all the possible combinations and principles.
Also – very important – no matter what and how many ways you chose to include in your workout, you must be very serious about your Rest. Remember – your muscle only grows when it is resting and feeding.
Plan your meals and rests. Every part is as important as the others. If you ignore one you will have very little results. To build muscle you must plan everything in advance. Having that plan is essential for your motivation and your results. There is nothing more demotivating of trying that hard and getting so far.
