3 Panic Disorder Symptoms You Must Not Ignore
So often these days we are all in a mad rush just to get by it is easy for our anxious feelings to be swept to one side and left. Generalized anxiety can fairly easily escalate to include the odd panic attack which in turn become regular occurrences and before we know it we have an anxiety disorder. Frequent panic attacks Panic attacks are very common and if you ask your friends if they have ever experienced one then they would probably say yes. If however you are experiencing more frequent or repeated episodes then it is likely that what began as a general anxiety with an occasional panic attack is developing into a panic disorder. So this is the first important symptom to look out for. Major changes in your behaviour Because you are experiencing more frequent panic episodes you begin to wonder just when the next one is going to happen. You might be out shopping or driving car or even at work. Perhaps you have experienced one in the same location as previously on several occasions. If this is the case you would naturally try to avoid that situation because you are worried that another attack might occur and this is the last thing that you want. You will therefore find that you begin to avoid certain places or situations. You may find that you are staying at home rather than going out with your family and friends. Constant anxiety that another attack may happen You will be feeling extremely anxious most of the time in between these attacks and you are worried about having to go through yet another episode in the near future. What you will find is that the constant anxiety has a huge impact on your daily life. You may feel totally drained and your lose confidence in yourself. The best thing that you can do is to gather as much knowledge and information that you can so that you understand exactly what is going on. Understand the process of escalation from general anxiety through the occasional panic attack to a serious panic disorder so that you can prevent this from happening or if necessary find a way to treat it.
