3 Rules For Writing A Great Article
* Rule #1 Is kind of obvious but many writers forget just how important it is. Know your TARGET audience. Think like them. What information do they want most? Put yourself in their shoes and pretend to be them. Ask yourself what you would want to know if you were them. (Also, when writing try not to seem too formal. Write as if you are writing to someone you know) * Rule #2 Come up with a catchy, attention getting headline. (But make sure you focus on your keyword at the same time). Be sure to peak curiosity with your headline, curiosity is one of the most motivating ways to hook your reader. Ask a question or leave the headline/sentence unfinished so they have to read at least the first part of the article to find out what you are talking about. * Rule #3 Provide quality information. Your article must fulfill what your headline promised. Don't try to sell anything, just be helpful. People don't like being sold to all the time. Give them what they came for.......quality information. To make sure your article gets plenty of traffic, your article must focus around your keyword phrase. Put your keyword phrase in the headline, the first paragraph, the last paragraph and in your author bio box. Sprinkle similar/complimentary keyword phrases throughout but don't overdo it. The readability should seem natural not keyword "stuffed". Follow these 3 rules for writing a great article and you're well on your way.
