3 Things Not To Do When Finding A Hot Niche

The title of this article could have been "10 things not to do when finding a hot niche" because there is really a list of things you should not do when when finding a hot niche. What I have done is focus on the 3 big mistakes that people make every day when looking for that hot niche product.

1. When starting out in the world of internet marketing people will always go for the big dollar signs first because their simply excited to be entering in a new venture and internet marketing is simply an amazing avenue to make as little as some extra pocket money or a full time income. There are many vendors out there that will promise you high percentage commission and I’m not saying that there telling porkpies but what I’m getting at is there will be an easier option where you WILL make money but not such a large one off sum. Your better making lots of small profits regularly then making a once in a blue moon big sale. I’m sure you'll all agree on that one. You are aware of developing your business cos you can see ongoing wins and it gives you better leverage down the track.

2. Click bank is one of the largest online companies out there that supply products and services to promote. I love Click bank! It’s so easy to use and they never miss paying you on time. This is more than I can say about my previous employer, ha-ha.
I’m going to use Click bank as an example but there are many companies just like them out there. Now Click bank has an option where you can see the most popular product to promote all the way down to the struggling little guys. Now a BIG mistake people make is to jump on the most popular product. Hell I mean it’s obviously doing well so why not get a piece of that?? NO! If it’s popular then it’s exhausted. You have just come along at the wrong time and other people have jumped all over it and are now promoting the hell out of it. Popular is not better. Do your research before promoting.

And that brings me onto the final tip for today.
3. Don't promote something you DON'T have an interest in. When on the journey of internet marketing you want to enjoy it don’t you? Of course so why not do something you enjoy. Before beginning any online campaign you need to do your research. Now I remember back to my days at school and I hated researching and studying something I didn’t enjoy. Like geography, I hated it!
Internet marketing is like anything worth doing right, you have to stick at it and you’re more likely to stick at it if you enjoy it right?

So to bring it all down to 3 simple points. Don't go for the big dollar. Don't go for the most popular product being marketed and don’t promote something you do not enjoy learning and researching about.
