If you promote Dish TV, what other things might interest users want who are interested in this product? Universal remotes? Movie guides specifically for Dish TV owners? Whatever it is, you want to find merchants that complement each other to increase the profit potential of your affiliate business site.

3. Target your promotion efforts to one market niche at a time.
There are many low-cost, yet effective methods to get your offers seen by people who are in your target market. Many marketers choose to focus on submitting to article directories, while others prefer writing ads for pay per click search engine traffic. The goal for any marketing strategy is whatever will put your affiliate business offers in front of the people you are trying to reach.

No matter which market you decide to focus your affiliate business, remember you are running a business. It will require some work and getting your message out to those people who will be interested in what you have to offer, like any business.
