As an avid PS3 owner (and all the other consoles), I play a lot of videos games. One thing I realized is that I love trophy hunting. In fact, it’s the reason why I’ve discovered games that I liked that I normally wouldn’t have played.
Generally, you can just play a game and get many trophies (10-70% depending on the game). Usually there’s a set of trophies that you need to do more for though. If you want a high trophy level with the PS3, there are some tips you should think of following.
Tip One: No game is worthless
Yeah, I’m talking about Hannah Montana. Ok, it’s a girls game and a poor one at that. Still, it’s a game that you can get 100% of the trophies in about 4 hours. Who cares. Play it and get the trophies.
Tip Two: Hard Doesn’t Mean Leet
Honestly, I don’t care if some gamer got a Platinum in Warhawk if they are a level 3 trophy gamer. Bye bye.
It’s about trophies, period. Who cares if the game is hard or easy to you or anyone else. Just play and get those trophies.
Tip Three: Time Matters
Getting Platinums are awesome, but if a game (Warhawk comes to mind) is going to take way too much time, put it aside until late.
It’s better to spend 8 hours on a new game soaking up trophies than 8 hours on the last 1-3 trophies in another game—especially if you’re renting games.
I hope these help. Enjoy yourself and think about speed when deciding what games to play and how long to play them for.
