3 Tips To Beat Your Anxiety For Good

People living with anxiety daily definitely know how bad it can be, the feelings of unease and general sickness can plague their life and make is constant torment. Anxiety strikes people of all ages, and often may be brought about by seemingly little things or events that may scare you or make you uneasy. Fortunately this anxiety will often go away.

For other people it is far worse and does not go away, this is chronic anxiety. Throughout the day they often will feel anxious, and not even know why they feel so bad. Some people think they are sick with some other disease, but the truth is they are suffering from chronic anxiety. So here are three tips that anyone can easily use to beat their anxiety.

Tip 1: Find out what is triggering the anxiety

Whenever you feel anxious try and think of any reason that this may have happened. Really think about it, was it that car that cut you off, was it someone yelling at you, was it that little spider? Whatever the problem is, address it. This may seem hard to do but is the first step you need to take to overcome your anxiety.

Tip 2: Rationalize why you feel anxious

So did a car just cut you off in the street? You are okay aren't you? Then why are you feeling anxious? I bet you have never thought of it this way before; whatever is causing the anxiety try and rationalize why you are feeling the way you do. For example if a car cut you off, you slowed down and are fine now, so there is no need to feel anxious. Tell your body to stop being overreacting to these situations and act normally. This makes your mind look stupid, overreacting to insignificant events. This can reprogram your brain into treating events like this normally, and not provoking an anxiety attack.

Tip 3: Try some relaxation

If you can relax for about half an hour a day this will help your body in many ways and can easily reduce your anxiety plus a lot more. To do this sit in a comfortable chair and you can then listen to some relaxing music or something that works to relax you. While you are relaxing think about a time you were anxious. All you have to do now is imagine the same scenario, but with you feeling happy and good. Do this again and again with different memories and you will feel amazingly better.

My advice to you would be to write down these steps and do them when you feel anxious. If you can do these basic steps successfully you could be able to easily cure your anxiety. Some of these techniques are modified from what a psychologist may get you to do, so they do work very well. Have faith and you can beat your anxiety.
