A bird cage will not only ensure your budgie’s safety but also allowing it to feel comfortable and happy. Make sure that your cage is made of strong and non-toxic materials which would otherwise harm your pet bird.

2. Environment
o Simply having a bird cage is not sufficient. Since budgies are native to Australia, you should at least try to ensure that your budgie is able to get all the fresh air it needs and sufficient sunlight. Hygiene is not to be overlooked. You should always clean the cage floor and food and water dishes to prevent bacteria build-up. The waste product should be cleaned as frequent as possible to keep your budgie healthy.

3. Nutrition
o Similar to humans, birds need their essential nutrition too. Vegetables and fruits are best as they are full with vitamins. Besides that, you can feed your budgie with quality seed mix.
