3 Tips To Make Money On Ebay With Your Auction Descriptions
Let's start by acknowledging that every item description you create is an advertisement. While you shouldn't ever be too blatant about it, your goal is to create outstanding sales copy that does its job. Your goal as a seller is to get your buyers excited about what you have to sell. The good news is that on eBay the upfront work of selecting the right product to sell, and then providing the right information about your product is a winning combination that does the job. 1. Include all of the technical data and details in your auction descriptions. Include the brand name, the manufacturer, the size of the item, and its condition. Add the year it was manufactured, any history you can locate, its color and textures, and any other out of the ordinary particulars. Don't write in a dull or boring tone. Use a more friendly conversation-like tone. Include as much information as possible. Make money on eBay by being extremely truthful in everything you write. 2. Add some of the most interesting information about your item. While nothing that follows is a 'must have' for your item description, the ideas that follow add your own feel to the listing which can go a long way toward building a sense of trust with prospective buyers. Some of the potential additions include a little about how you originally acquired the item, or why you are now offering it for sale. You might also add some ideas regarding who might be the right buyer for your item. 3. Don't stop writing until you have provided every possible detail in your auction descriptions. Include every possible bit of information. There is virtually no way it can become too lengthy. Provide the answers to every question you have received about the item previously. If one person has a question, it is safe to bet that there are many others with exactly the same question. In fact, some with questions will never ask, even when the information they seek is not included in your item description. Make money on eBay by anticipating all possible questions and then including the answers in your listing. To your eBay success!
