300 Movie Review

300 is known as a fantasy story based on the Conflict for Thermophylae during which 300 Spartans led by the fierce King Leonidas made a daring stand against the overwhelming Persian invading army commanded by Xerxes. Leonidas' refusal to bow down to Xerxes sets the events in action, with all the Spartan three hundred ready to willingly give up their existence to keep Sparta clear of the clutches of Xerxes and his invading army. The action scenes were particularly amazing as I opted to watch 300 online and thus kept rewinding to see all the gore again and again.

As the film makes clear ideal positioning allowed Leonidas along with his men an opportunity to efficiently dispense with thousands of hapless Persians while not suffering many losses of their own. Even an elephant along with a rhino are simply no match for the well-oiled machine that is the Spartan military. In an extremely crazy move, the Spartans make use of dead Persians to shore up a wall, essentially setting up a hurdle to hide behind and psyching out the enemy concurrently. Even while the men realize there's not really a likelihood in hell they'll come out of the battle with their lives. But as Leonidas explains after they meet up with troops who wish to join the cause, his men are soldiers through and thru and know no other existence than one of guarding their Sparta.

Even though the motion picture floods the majority of its running time with practically bare soldiers sporting 6-pack abdominal muscles along with testo-sterone to spare talking about battles or in fact engaged in them, Snyder wisely decided to commit a fair timeframe outlining the actual Spartan culture and emphasizing Sparta's Queen Gorgo. The connection between the King and Queen is widened upon from the graphical narrative, with Queen Gorgo pictured being a good leader on an equal standing as her King. However I only had the opportunity to watch 300 online and still have not really read the narrative.

There's a good amount of blood and body parts being cut off and among the better choreographed fight scenes on film, but it's almost all stylized. Snyder's utilization of stop-motion to catch certain occasions throughout combat allows the film attain a painting come to life tone. Nevertheless for all the dismemberments not to mention killings, there are many passionate instances among Leonidas and Gorgo thrown in to balance it out (not to mention a smoking hot sex scene which can be motive enough to make anybody wish to watch 300 online again).

Quite simply, there's something for action film freaks and also all those more into drama and romance to make it worthwhile to watch 300 online. And let's be entirely honest here. Just the view of Butler and the gifted cast of actors who make-up the Spartan 300 (including David Wenham, Tom Wisdom, Vincent Regan, and Michael Fassbender) seen in 'codpieces' which hardly hide the family gems and little else is purpose enough for most women to want to check out the film.
