3d Plasma Televison Vs. Lcd Hdtv

While everybody is rushing to talk about 3D TVs. One significant subject is often over looked when you buy TV and this is what kind of HD format goes on a 3D TV? 3D LCD or 3D plasma? Many think theirs no difference? Well think again...

3D Plasma television may actually be better. Why? Well, plasma television sales have gone down while LCD HDTV have gone up. Well Plasma television have 2 big advantages when it comes to 3D. Those advantages are speed & contrast...

First, contrast. Due to the high quality theirs a huge difference between white and black. its refereed to as a contrast ratio. Most plasma's are usually a bigger size than LCD HDTV, why? If a plasma television is black. It means its turned off, whenever you see a LCD HDTV dark its because of the tiny crystals are darkened and sometimes a little bit of light gets through from the black-light. Lets say that even if the LCD could go all dark like plasma. It wont be as fast. Plasma can go back to black around 60 times faster than LCD. So that means that sports and games in 3D are measurable better.

With 3D set aside, as far as prices go, as mentioned before. Plasma television sales have been dropping recently compared to LCD and LED TVs. This will bring the price down, because of demand issues. i.e. a standard 42-inch LCD HDTV and a basic 42-inch plasma television is about around 500 vs 750 dollars(standard) Comparing prices to Plasma God. Strangely enough its a win, win for plasma 3D vs LCD 3D, because its cheaper and has better quality of picture.
