Several 3D movies had been released in the theaters in 2010 all over. Tron Legacy, a movie which is made keeping in mind projection crosstalk, but failed in its purpose with viewers giving it an average rating. Legend of the Guardian succeeded as a fantastic animated movies by Warner Bros. It really showed the power of stereo imaging and 3D effects. Amongst the others to follow are Hubble 3D, Alice in Wonderland, Avatar, Yogibear, Tangled, Megamind, Resident Evil: After Life, Piranha, Step Up3D, Toy Story 3, Clash of the Titans 3D. Many of them have been able to make a fabulous appeal while some badly fail. It is becoming an accepted fact that 3D movies in theaters are getting better than the ones it used to be in the last decade and before.

3D movies in theaters are great as long as there is equal emphasis for all genres of movies. But generally animated movies are given more preference in 3D over the others. Thus the prime concern when one goes to see 3D movies in theaters is the lack of variety. However as more 3D movies are released, we can hope that versatility shall be maintained for 3D movies in theaters.
