4 Money Making Ways To Use Article Marketing

I use article marketing as a means of generating traffic as well as back-links to my websites. Many other Internet marketers do so as well. But did you know that you could actually make money directly from article marketing? Here are a few ideas for generating income from article marketing that will pay well.

If you are willing to write 10 short articles a day, you can create a pretty nice income for yourself. I think many of the people who get on the article marketing bandwagon quickly realize that they have to keep doing it to get the quality traffic flowing.

The most important aspect of article marketing is the traffic conversion. People who give up usually stop before they get to critical mass because they get hung up on the quantity rather than the quality of the people who sign up from article marketing.

Try this experiment; establish three auto responder opt-in forms and three identical squeeze pages. You'll need a good auto-responder service to get this right. Use Pay Per Click advertising for one squeeze page. Use banners or other forms of web advertising, and finally set up one auto-responder form that articles will point to.

This will allow you to track the progress of your venture. You'll be looking for three distinct results. You'll watch the growth of prospects to your mailing list, their sales conversion as well as the longevity of your prospects on the individual lists and the speed at which your prospects come in.
You'll want to send them all the same materials, email them the same offers and promotions. The only difference will be their point of origin. Give yourself three months of solid work to evaluate the test and get it right.

What I found is that although the Pay Per Click ads will bring in targeted prospects, they depend on the amount of money I was willing to pay for those targeted ads. Banner ads and text ads are little better in that it is not dependent on cost per impressions or clicks. Unfortunately the quality of the prospects suffered in that category.

Articles were different. I got a steady but small stream of targeted subscribers. The level did not rise until I figured how to deliver groups of articles instead of submitting them one at a time. I can actually anticipate the level of new prospects by the frequency of article distribution. As a new batch is registered by the search engines, my opt-in box experiences a spike in subscriptions.

Here's the kicker; when I evaluate the drop out rate of the three auto responders, I find something interesting happening. The rate at which the prospects unsubscribe from the service is telling me a shocking story. The group who came in on Internet advertising experience the greatest fall off of subscribers. The group who came in from Pay Per Click tend to stick around longer but the group that came in from article marketing stayed the longest and converted to customers far easier than their counterparts.

Of the three systems, Pay Per Click was by far the easiest system for bringing in targeted traffic. I could count on a steady influx of traffic from that system. Unfortunately, It was also the most expensive to manage. The various niche headings and keywords needed to maintain a profit was always competitive and called for constant monitoring.

Other Web Advertising methods produced mixed results and were less predictable. The cost factor was much better than PPC but at a price. If you cannot afford to use pay per click, or you want to bolster your other advertising tactics, this is still a great low cost way to go.

Article marketing really belongs in a different category because of the complex results it brings to the market. It is much harder to maintain and requires discipline and endurance. The payoff is huge to the people who can consistently out perform their completion.

This is where you can make money through article marketing. If you can ghost write for others or develop a team of ghost writers who will work for you, then you can make a lot of money. The payment for individual articles is small but you make it up in volume.

If you get good at it, you can start with a series of articles that lead to a book. The book can then be sold thought article marketing. You can repeat the process over and over.

You can create articles for clients who own websites by contacting web hosting companies and web designers to offer your services.

You can create your own article marketing company and sell your services to small businesses as part of an SEO package. This could include, creating Internet ads, PPC and articles for a monthly fee. So you see, you can make money with articles as well as promote with them. Give the experiment a try and let me know your results.
