4 Steps That Are Critical To Email Marketing

1. The first step in building your list is in getting yourself an auto-responder. There are several autoresponders out there and my job today is not to promote any of them so my discussions here will be generic.

Essentially, there’s no email marketing without autoresponders, and vice versa. It’s very simple: without the use of autoresponders, it would be virtually impossible to succeed in the email Marketing business. Autoresponders can take over many of those marketing tasks that make an online business successful.

a. If you’ve been in the email marketing business for any length of time, I’m sure you’ll agree with met that it is a very time consuming business. And, in order to automate your business and to help you make better use of your time a big part of your email marketing armory will be your autoresponders. You can use these to stay in touch with your existing customers, but the most important aspect of your autoresponder is its use in developing a relationship with your potential customers.

b. Your autoresponder will allow you to deliver sales messages and/or email courses. You can send reminders and most of the autoresponder services give you a great place to build and maintain your opt-in list. In actuality your creativity and imagination alone can limit your possible uses of your autoresponder.

c. If you’re to become a successful email Marketer then an opt-in list and an autoresponder are vital to for your survival. In fact, most successful email marketers would tell you, if you are to strip me of everything I had, the two most important things I would need to keep would be my opt-in list and autoresponder.

2. Now that you’ve got your autoresponder, you’ll not only be using it to communicate and build relationships with your opt-in list but you’ll also be using it to capture your prospects names and email address. The essence of email marketing is in building your opt-in list. Your autoresponder service can help you with that as most of them will provide you with opt-In forms within their service to help you capture your prospects information. An opt-in form essential captures this information for you.

3. Now that you have an opt-in form the next step would be to load it up in a web sales page or blog page. It is assumed at this point that if you’re getting into the email marketing business that you already have a presence on the internet either through a website or blog. Either one will do as you can insert your opt-in form in either.

4. The next step is now to create a welcome message within your autoresponder service. What this means is that once you get a visitor to your site or blog and your sales page is enticing enough to male them sign up what you want to do now is start building the relationship. So you need to create a welcome message in your autoresponder that will be sent to your subscribers as soon as they complete the opt-in form.
