5 Basic Rules For Keeping Your Working Efficiency At Its Best

Working on serious projects day in and day out is demanding. In order to keep your mind focused and your labor as effective as possible you should know the basic rules of working efficiency. Read them and implement in your daily routine – this will maximize your results tremendously.

1) Wake up early

This may seem too basic and many of you already get up very early. Yet there are a lot of people who don’t. They must know that most productive time is in the morning, and the later it gets the worse your work efficiency will become. Also going to sleep after midnight will affect your health in long term, so it’s better to get up early and do all your deeds before the night falls down. Greatest people like Ghandi and Franklin were “early birds”.

2) Train frequently

When you have time, always go out and do a little jogging or walking. Going to the gym, swimming, football or any other “active” sport are a must as well. Just make sure you leave your PC at least once a day, that will keep the mind fresh and you might get a flow of new ideas while you are walking outside.

3) Give yourself some rest every day

Always find an hour or at least 30 minutes for yourself and do what you enjoy the most – that will keep your mood happy and you will think positive, which will attract more positive situations in your live. And this will keep you from physical exhaustion.

4) Don’t work too much

A lot great leaders worked only for few hours a day. But those were very productive hours – they were able to complete more work than most of us do in a few days. For example, Beethoven worked only from sunset till 12-00, and famous writer Tom Robbins worked only for 3 hours a day. Well, there is a reason for that – working for more than 5-6 hours without any break will dramatically decrease your results, because you will lose focus and concentration. So make short 5 minute rests between hours of work.

5) Always create a daily plan

Eventually, this will take you only several minutes, but you will be amazed how much time you saved in the first few weeks. Plan will always point you to the right direction, without wondering – “What should I do now?” You will reach your goals faster and your productivity will increase as well.

So that’s it. Very basic, but a lot of people just seem to ignore these rules. Don’t be lazy like they are, and create your daily plan starting now!
