1: Melbourne is possibly Australia’s most significant shopping city. There are two main shopping areas for this city.

The main shopping street would be Chapel Street which is quite the shopping, dining and entertainment precinct for the city. This street caters for everyone, so if you are into high fashion you will be able to find many upmarket fashion boutiques; or if you are looking for something old there are pawnbrokers found here as well.

There is also Bridge Road, which is popular for its clothing outlets and shops that sell clothes created by local designers.

2: Sydney is the biggest city in Australia and is often the starting place for people holidaying in the country. The city also has its own shopping districts which are a great opportunity to do shopping before you return home.

The main shopping street in the city would be Pitt Street Mall. For some more affordable shopping you can head to Harbour Town which is home to a number of factory outlets stores.

5: Rundle Mall is the place to go while you are in the South Australian Capital of Adelaide. This pedestrianised street features over 600 shops, so you are sure to find anything and everything here. Many of Australia’s indigenous retailers can be found here include David Jones, the Myer Centre and Woolworths. In addition to the larger stores there are many other smaller stores as well selling speciality products.
