3. Descriptive essay is where the writer plays an important role in providing the readers a clear and vivid picture of a certain subject, be it a place, object, people or event. This type of writing needs concise and precise details to ensure that the readers are able to imagine the described subject. Descriptive essay’s structure mainly consists of 4Ws; what, when, why, where and how.

4. Definition essay requires the writer to state a meaning if a particular term that is beyond the definition provided by the dictionary. The writer needs to pay extra attention on giving more exact description than those offered in references.

5. Narrative essay allows the writer to tell a story or certain events in a sequence. It usually comes from the writer’s point of view. This type of essay allows the reader to get involved in the written elements by following the story’s sequences. Precise and vivid verbs are used in this essay.
