5 Steps To Building Your Own Money-making Affiliate Website
If you are planning to start an affiliate program, one of the things you might consider is your own website, This article explains the 5 steps you need to take to build a professional looking money-making website?
Assuming you have already done your research and decided on a product to promote the First step you need to take is to choose a Domain name for your website. The name you choose should if possible be relevant to the product you are going to promote. Having the right keywords in your domain name will give you a better chance of drawing more visitors to your website. Think of a good name then go to a Domain host like GoDaddy and type in your chosen name. If the name is available you can buy it there and then.
Once you have bought your Domain Name the next step is to find a web host to host your site. Godaddy, hostgator and 1&1 are popular sites for hosting. Now you can start building your site.
There are two ways you can build your site. You can employ a website builder to do it for you or you can build it yourself using free tools that are provided by sites like BlueVoda, Doodlekit or Homestead. These companies give you website building tools and provide tutorials on how to use them for free in the hope that when you have built your site you will use them to host it.
The next step is very important whether you, or a web-builder, builds your site, if you want quality visitors you must provide them with quality content! Content will make or break you. People want information that is why they are visiting your site. That information should encourage them to click on the link to your product provider or if you are selling direct from your site, to BUY.
So now you have you site up and running up there among millions of other sites on the net. So how do you get visitors to come to your site. Well here are three ways you can do this and and two of the ways won't cost you a dime! 1 promote your site through writing Articles using your Resource Box to link to your site. 2 promote through Forums using your signature to link to your site and 3 promote through advertisements on Google or Yahoo content sites with pay per click (P.P.C).This last method will cost you money.
