Meet Your Inner Little Girl... She is you, she is with you every moment and unless you wise up to the way she operates, she will continue to make decisions for you that may not be in your best grown up interest. Here are: 5 Things You Need to Know About Your Inner Little Girl 1. Every One Has a Little Girl within her. Like it or not, she is in you. She tends to show up and make decisions that may or may not be in your best mature interest. If you pay attention, you will recognize her many aspects. 2. Your Inner Little Girl is very powerful in your life. She has a huge database of experiences, thoughts, core beliefs. She is the one behind your passions and your fears. She is also the one behind your unresolved places. She is the keeper of your emotional buttons. 3. She will make all kinds of decisions for you if left unchecked. She often runs the whole show. There are many women of age out there who are unconsciously working out their little girl issues in their relationships with self, others, money, food, attachment to stuff etc. 4. Her emotional age is determined by your experiences. You have developmental tasks as you grow up and if it doesn’t go smoothly and you don’t learn what you need to, you acquire a ‘bump in your path”. That is where your inner girl child will show up. 5. Until you are aware and take steps to resolve/reparent, she will continue to make decisions and choices for you. She isn’t going anywhere. Your best course of action is to learn about her/you and do your necessary inner work. Consciously choose to make your decisions as your grown woman self. Awareness is power. Your Inner Girl Child is part of you. If all is running smoothly in your life, chances are that you have either done much of your inner work and resolve what needed to be resolved, or you had a healthy childhood. Either way... that’s great! If, however, you have a bumpy path, chances are you are struggling in areas that you struggled with growing up. Get out your journal and explore all the stages of your life as a little girl. Look at the areas in your life that you are challenged by and the connection to your development as you grew up.
