Navigation - make sure your navigation is simple, consistent through the whole site. It is good idea to use same color theme so people do not get confused and know there's still on the same website they entered. Keep everything organized (alphabetically) and make sure that every sub-page can be accessible no further than 2 clicks from your homepage.

Contact Information - very often people when browsing product sites they simply have questions, so keep your contact information visible from every page so they don't have to go over few pages before contacting you. People are lazy and very often they like to contact customer service before placing an order to make sure chosen company is legitimate and has field experience.

Images - it's so much nicer if all the product pictures are actually good quality so people can look at the details, especially when buying products like clothes. They want to make sure this is the product they are looking for and do not want to be surprised when opening delivery box.

Popular items - list all your most popular items on the homepage including links to full product info and small thumbnail images. You know exactly which products have most interest so make sure you'll highlight them to simply direct visitors and use their sight sense. This is especially important if you sell some other manufacturer's brand name products, simply those brands work for you and increase your trust.

FAQ - old goodie, when creating your site show it to few of your friends and ask what they think and they'll probably have some questions. Create a list of naturally possible questions and answers with easy access from every page. This will simplify your customer service work and again will increase your overall credibility.
