5 Tips To Get The Best Music Organizer
Do you have many duplicates you would like to get rid of? Pose and consider how many duplicates you currently have in your iTunes library. If you have too many -- something easily to determine: do you often catch yourself thinking “whoo, why is this song playing again, I didn’t turn the “repeat” on”, then it means you probably have too many duplicates! When getting a music organizer, you should then pay attention to the “find duplicates” or “remove duplicates” feature offered by the software. Deleting duplicates was the primary feature I was looking for, so I picked a software that performs great on this feature (by which I mean Tidysongs). Are you missing many album covers for you songs? Though this might not be the first criterium to take into consideration while choosing a music software, because it’s not the hardest part of the job, this feature can make a lot of difference in the final looks of your iTunes library. I always wanted to get the maximum album covers for my songs, and I’m happy to say that here again, the software I chose, Tidysongs, did a heck of a job for album covers. Are you missing music info or do you have misspelled music info (such as artists names)? In my opinion, this is a very important parameter to take into consideration, because misspelled music info makes your music librayr look pretty bad and disorganized, and missing music info makes it hard to find a track or an artist again (how do you handle it when you have several “Track 04” at the bottom of your music library?) Fortunately, Tidysongs fixed all this for me, so here again, no regret as for my choice! What are music genres in your iTunes worth in your opinion? If you are tired of having standard music genres (“alternative”, “pop”) that you feel don’t match the reality of your music, take this into consideration too. I must admit this is not a feature I’m particularly interested in, but this is a feature offered by Tidysongs too. Would you like updates from your favorite bands to arrive directly in your iTunes rather than in your email inbox? I’m perfectly happy to get updates about tours and videos in my inbox, so I was pretty comfortable with Tidysongs not offering this feature. But if this is something that you highly value, note that this is not a feature offered by Tidysongs. I hope I’ve given you a better understanding of what to take into consideration when choosing a music organizer. This can make a huge difference in the way you use and manage your music library, so which ever you pick, it will probably be a great thing provided it matches your needs. Note: the software I’m using, Tidysongs, only works for iTunes (MAC OS X or Windows) Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com Alex Liber is a web entrepreneur and self-taught learner.
