5 Top Affiliate Marketing Strategies You Need

One thing I’ve learned is that there aren’t as many article marketing secrets as you may think.

Yes there are certain keys to the experts’ success, but I’ve found most experts to be very open about how they became successful and offer help to those who are struggling.

With that being said, here are some of the article marketing secrets that have been revealed by some of the best of the best:

1)Care for your customers! This has been preached for years and years, since before the Internet was even around. Zig Ziglar, Jeffrey Gitomer, Travis Sago, and other sales giants have all said that if you don’t care for your customers, you will not truly succeed.

2)Provide great content! This goes along with caring for your customers, because the more you care about them, the better the content you’ll give them.
Answer their questions. Meet their needs. Try to sit on their side of the table and see where they’re coming from. See them as people with families and friends, not just a wallet for you to pick through. All of this will help you provide great content.

3)Treat your affiliate marketing as a business, and be consistent! Get in the habit of working on it every day, even if it’s just writing one article per day. Over a year that’s 365 articles sending people to your links- that’s easily a few thousand visitors a year!

Even if you work pretty long days, I’m sure you can squeeze in 20-30 minutes to write a good article. After all, this is about helping others AND yourself at the same time- a worthy time investment!

4)Possibly a very underrated article marketing secret is to remember why you are doing this in the first place.

Are you affiliate marketing just to make money to go out to the movies?

Or are you trying to make more money to help financially support your family’s medical or education expenses?

I guarantee that if you have a more important reason like helping family, you’ll stay more motivated and determined to succeed. Post you goals and motivation where you’ll see it every day- especially someplace close to where you will do your article writing.

5)Target the right audience. . Put the food in front of a hungry crowd. A thirsty man in the desert doesn’t have to be sold water- it just has to be placed in front of him!

This is done by using narrow, focused keywords. There are literally millions of keyword phrases and combinations out there. Just because you may be able to make a few sales with a broad keyword, the secret is to be more focused.

It’s better to have a narrow, deep campaign than a broad, shallow one. This will help you find repeat customers, and really meet the customers’ needs.
