My subscribers often email me asking me for some effective methods to generate free traffic. If you have read some of my other articles in the past, you may have came across this statement.
There is no such things as free traffic, it is either a tradeoff between money and time. What I am going sharing with you in this article are all traffic generation methods that requires your time and not money.
So if you are interested in getting traffic for free, you got to be committed to do the necessary stuffs to use the following methods.
1) Setting up Blog Contest: In order to drive more traffic to your blog, you can create a content for your niche and get your readers to take part as well as help you to spread the words. This can definitely generate you new readers everytime. Do it constantly like once a month to see massive results.
2) Tap into Social Networking: Personally, I recommend propeller.com and digg.com because I see results with these two social networking site. However there is no harm for you to explore other ones as well. Every time you post something on your blog, you submit them to the social networking sites of your choice to get your blog more exposure.
3) Article Writing: The whole internet is about content and the more content you can provide people, the more valuable you are and the more money you can earn. I started my whole online business simply through writing articles on topics I am good at and slowly build trust among people in the market. This has allowed me to build a good list that I can rely on.
4) Writing Small Reports: Small reports are those that are between 10 to 15 pages long. You do not need a 160 pages report to entice your prospects. If you have solid content to provide to your prospects, a 10 to 15 pages report is enough to make them hand you their credit cards. After writing these small reports, you can either give them away as free gifts or offer to membership sites as free contents and this helps to increase your website exposure.
5) Set up affiliate program: This is also a very effective method of traffic generation. Instead of you doing tons of different things to get more traffic for your site, your affiliates will set up squidoo, blogs and many more stuffs to promote your site. If done properly, this can be the only thing you ever need to do to drive traffic.
Driving traffic with these methods require your constant commitment to see the result. Therefore you need to commit yourself to do certain tasks everyday without fail.
