Mega pixels is what you want to consider when you are going to buy that new digital camera. You will want to get as many mega pixel as you can, that are with in your price range. A mega pixel is the number of individual points that make up an image. Each mega pixel is one thousand of these points. The more mega pixels the better the photo.

Let’s say that you want to take photos that are of publication quality, you will require a camera that is at least 5 mega pixels. If you were to use any camera with less than 5 mega pixels you would not have the support that you need for this type of photography.

Since we are talking about a new digital camera and getting one that you can make money with you will want to consider your lens. The quality of the lens and the size of the sensor can and will make a huge difference in the quality of the photo itself.
