1. The Headline:
The Headline must be Large, Eye Catching and Grab the readers Attention. It Must also create curiosity, solve a visitors problem or answer a question for your readers.
This can be accomplished by making the headline text Bold and by adding the tag in the page source code. Also the Font you decide on can have a dramatic effect on visitors, and a Red or Blue text color will help to attain the goal of catching the readers eye.
2. The Sub Headline:
The Sub Headline must continue to spark interest. It Must flow with the headline into a benefit or feature that will encourage the prospect to continue reading, or fulfill the readers need.
This can be accomplished by making the sub headline text Bold and by adding the tag in the page source code. Another text formating option. would be to determine the Font and Font Size settings you choose and a Red or Blue text color may choose. This is up to you. It is not as important on the sub headline. But should be smaller.
3. The Bullets or Bullet Points:
The Bullets are Tiny snippets of information that highlight your product features or benefits. I personally like to have a maximum of 5 or 6 bullets on my squeeze pages. Bullets are generally set up in a list format.
4. The Opt-in Form:
In my belief, the opt-in form is the 2nd most important part of the squeeze page. The Headline being the 1st and main focus of your visitor upon arrivval to your business.
A good opt-in form will have a text fields for the visitors to input their Name, Email Address, and, optionally ... the phone number, referral source, and various other custom input text fields depending on the specific information required by you.
A disclaimer following your opt-in form is also a must have for your squeeze pages. This will ensure confidents in your visitor that the information they provide is Secure.
5. Create Urgency & Call to Action:
Another imperative part of the squeeze page is to Create Urgency and the Call to Action.
Examples of some good call to action phrases are: Act Now, or Get It While It Last, or As A Added Bonus, or Act Now To Receive A Added Bonus Here, or While Supplies Last, or Limited Number Available etc. You get the point.
This is where you ask your Visitor for the order, and ask for it Now, Today. If you donıt ask for the order, you want get it. Of course in this case we are referring to the personal information as the order. Primarily, you need the readers Name and Email Address. Once this is accomplished the auto-responder takes over and with anticipation makes the sale.
6. The P.S.
The P.S. Is optional in my opinion. It is an added attempt to show the benefits or features of the product, thus a very last effort to get your visitors to provide information.
