The Torchlight Procession 30 December 6.30pm – aprox. 9.30pm The start of the Hogmanay celebrations, the atmospheric flaming procession moves through the city to Calton Hill before the flames engulf a large boat, with fireworks and music to finish. Phew, some start! Street Party 31 December People swarm to congregate along the length of Princes Street for the street party and midnight fireworks. There're big screens showing the live music, DJs and performers, and a buoyant atmosphere to keep you in great spirits! Drinks can be taken in but only in a plastic container.
