6 Types Of Toddler Tables
1 – Play Tables A play table is essentially a large table that can be added to any room. It should be easy to clean, difficult to damage, and strong enough to stay upright when kids lean across which they almost certainly will. Laminate type surfaces have proven popular because they are inexpensive and they can be easily wiped clean leaving no mess or residue. 2 – Activity Tables An activity table can include features like a train set or a town mat. While some may include the activity set as a permanent fixture attached to the top of the table other, more convenient activity tables will let you turn the top of the table over so that it can be used either as a standard table or as a specific activity table. Things like train activity tables may also offer storage inside the table itself for trains and other essential toys. 3 – Table And Chair Sets A table and chair set is a useful addition to a playroom or kid’s bedroom. The set may include benches which are fixed to the table unit or it may have two, three, or four chairs that can be pulled up to and away from the table as needed. Often, table and chair sets are designed so that the chairs will slot conveniently away when not in use making them a space conscious item. 4 – Outdoor Tables Outdoor tables are designed to withstand the rigours of being left out in the sun and the rain. They are usually made from either plastic or treated wood and they may include a parasol and/or an umbrella to protect your child from the rain or the sun too. 5 – Foam Tables Foam tables are a convenient and safe addition to a playroom or nursery. They are made from soft and safe foam so if any accidents do happen, which they can, then your child won’t hurt themselves on the table or the chairs. Foam tables are also lightweight, easy to move around, and can be stored just about anywhere that you’ve got a little room. 6 – Chalkboard Tables A chalkboard table is great for creative kids that are always looking for something to draw on or write on. Give them some chalk and let them get creative. When they’ve finished they can simply wipe it away and start all over again. If you have a child that loves to draw then a chalkboard table could be the ideal solution.
