Article Four – Key meditative statements exercise on “Letting go of Anxiety & Stress”


Last week, l have shared with you how to identify and let go of the past, you have been filling yourself with. This week, we will focus on identifying what reoccurring issues are causing you anxiety and stress, and the key meditative exercises to let go of them.

Focus on each of the sentence for 1 min. Repeat the sentence either aloud or in your mind for 10 times before moving on to another sentence. Finally, follow the instructions under “Reflections” and add your own statements. Repeat your “letting go” statements daily until next week’s article.

Anxiety & Stress

LETTING GO OF NEED TO CONTROL

Today, I will ask myself what I should be doing differently if I weren’t trying to control. When I hear the answer, I will do it. God, help me let go of my need to control. Help me set myself and others free.

LETTING GO OF CHAOS

Today, I will get peaceful first, and let my work and life emerge from that base.

LETTING GO OF URGENCY

Today, I will peacefully approach one thing at a time. When in doubt, I will take the first things first.

LETTING GO OF WORRY

Today, I will know that I don’t have to worry about anything. If I do worry, I will do it with the understanding that I am choosing to worry, and it is not necessary.

REFLECTION

Which statement best describes your thoughts on letting go? Add your own statement of letting go.

This key meditative “Letting Go” statements is crafted as part of the series “Let Go and Move Upwards” articles what will be posted on every Wednesday weekly from now. This article aims to help us to identify and be aware of how we will naturally response to the need to let go of our past and current (experiences, emotions and choices) in other to move on successfully to another stage of our lives. With awareness, we are able take action to let go and move upwards!
