During the course of any given month we review hundreds, perhaps thousands of article and link submissions to our Internet directory. It would seem that for some people, their drive is to get a "submission declined" notice as fast as possible. So we put together a quick list of 7 rules to follow to ensure that your submitted article is rejected.
Rule 1: It's all about you!
Mention your company name and link to it as often as you can in the article. It's most important to do this in the very first sentence of both the summary and content of the article.
Self promoting less than 10 times in the same article? Go home - you're just not trying hard enough. Now, get out there and Spamvertise!
Rule 2: Ignore proper grammar and spelling
Verbs, adverbs, nouns, proper pronouns, adjectives, sentence and paragraph structures - it's just too much to keep track of... And who needs a darn dictionary anyway, they make such good doorstops. For an added bonus, just flat out ignore paragraphs. An article length paragraph looks bestest.
Rule 3: Everyone loves an expletive
Those little, small minded, four letter words are also a great way to increase the word count of your article. Don't worry, no one will be offended as much as you'd like.
Rule 4: Ignore category selection
Submit your article to any category you like, your readers will find it eventually. Or better yet, don't even bother to choose a category - there's no better way to destroy submitter - reviewer relations.
Rule 5: EVERYONE LOVES ALL CAPS
In today's world of information overload, it's the best way to ensure that your article rises above the white noise. Don't limit it to just the title and description. The whole article will be really eye catching.
Rule 6: If you feel it... emote it! ;)
Shakespearean prose was never really your strong suit anyway. Hemingway, Longfellow, and Poe never had access to the plethora of ASCII symbols at your fingertips.
Rule 7: Never double check your submission
That is what the directory's editors are for - the more work you give them to do in correcting your article submission, the more likely they are to locate the "Reject Article" icon.
By properly implementing just a few of the simple rules listed here you can be rest assured that your article will be immediately rejected without hesitation!
