7 Tips For Achieving Happiness That Give You Long Lasting Authentic Happiness
2. Have you made your intention to have authentic happiness?—Setting an intention to manifest authentic happiness causes you to focus only on those things that truly make you happy. 3. Have you made your choice to experience Authentic Happy?—this is the key to changing your mood from unhappy to happy very quickly. 4. Do you take immediate action towards what gives you authentic happiness?—Thinking about something is not enough. Action tells your consciousness that you are serious about manifesting your authentic happiness. 5. Do you do what makes you truly happy? Or, are you busy doing what you think you have to do to make others happy—you can only live your life to the fullest not live it for another. This is the essence of Authentic Happiness. 6. Do you have a way to gauge whether you are feeling authentic happiness?—If you are not happy 80% of your time it’s time to change. How to use your Authentic Happiness Gauge was explained in one of my earlier articles. 7. Are you totally honest with yourself?—Denying that you are unhappy will escalate your unhappiness. You are focusing on fooling yourself about being happy and this causes you to create more of what you are trying to avoid. This is definitely a counter-production to Authentic Happiness. Now just to help you along a little more in your quest about how to find happiness for you, I am throwing in another important tip. It is called “The Act As If Syndrome”. Now this is one that will propel you towards Authentic Happiness in record timing. What is “The Act As If Syndrome” and how does it help in achieving happiness? It is actually quite simple. We have spent many years (depending what wonderful age you have come to at this moment) acting as if we are unhappy or depressed or stressed or whatever. Now it is time to ACT AS IF you are feeling happy. Think about what tells you that another person is happy: do they laugh a lot; Do they smile often; Do they say hallo to strangers and make them smile? Think of someone you know that is always happy and observe them. Then make your intention to practice just one thing every day that they do for one week. Then add another thing to that in the next week. Then add as many things you can think of in the next week. This formula is very powerful because many experts in the field of creating change in your emotions and feelings have found that if you do something 21 times you will change your outlook on life. Practicing happiness as described here every day; that’s 7 days per week, means you are acting as if you are happy for 21 days. Most of all have fun with this.
